2007 - Another Great, Challenging & Enjoyable Year!

Nancy made a tough decision effective 1/01/07 and that was to discontinue taking legal cases to allow more time for her consulting, coaching and mediations.  While she missed the practice of law, the decision proved to be a good one overall as she was able to accept more clients with businesses unrelated to the legal field.  In addition, she was able to meet and assist more individuals in a coaching capacity regarding their communication and conflict resolution techniques and with minimizing the necessity of litigation in their lives.  This diversity of clients and topics is always challenging, very rewarding and most enjoyable.  Nancy's 2008 client and speaking schedule is shaping up to be another wonderful, always interesting and great year for NBJ & Associates, Inc.

2005 Special Assignment:   Nancy spent five months in 2005 serving by special invitation as a temporary Assistant District Attorney for the State of North Carolina.   She worked fulltime as a prosecutor in five counties which assisted her prosecutorial district with an extremely heavy court docket.  Among many other things, Nancy had the opportunity to view the legal system from a whole different perspective and to work with many extremely dedicated and talented folks within the court system.  Nancy's consulting clients who do criminal defense work were thrilled with her up to date exposure to their world.  Nancy will also be sharing her prosecutorial adventures and experiences in many ways with clients and the readers of her  monthly column in Lawyers Weekly USA and via her speaking engagements and other publications.
