We are truly blessed if we have even a handful of genuinely close and loyal friends in our lives. Sometimes good friends fade out of our lives due to moves, death and other reasons.  If we're super blessed, however, other true, trustworthy friends come along.  When they are there for the long haul, the roots go deep and the resulting blessings from such friendships are multiplied a thousand times over.

As a big time animal lover who shares her life with donkeys, horses, dogs, cats...well, you get the picture, I know that friendships come in all shapes, sizes, forms and types -- if we are open to the nontraditional types that is. This is certainly proven in this sweet story about a man and his goose buddy.  It's been circulated for many years now, but if you missed it some how as I did, I believe you'll be glad you took a few minutes to click here and enjoy the smiles it will no doubt bring your way.
