We humans all backslide from time to time in our food choices, our exercise routines, in how we handle stress, our relationships, occasional sloppy sleep routines and in so many other ways.

Today's post focuses on our lapses in making smart food choices and the importance of knowing how to turn them into helpful learning experiences.  It also is intended to serve as a reminder not to beat ourselves up when we backslide --- to be our own best friends and about the invaluable treasure of finding and building good support networks to lean on when we are the ones needing some support.

So -- the three essential ingredients to making wonderful lemonade out of our backsliding lemons are:

  1. To learn from our lapses (what were our triggers, how did it make us feel, how can we avoid a repeat, etc.)
  2. To be our own best friends which means forgiving ourselves, quit over thinking "it" and determinely moving on; and
  3. Find and nurture a trustworthy support network like Healthy World Vitality Plan offers --- we ALL need like minded folks to lean on, to share with and teach one another and most of all to know we can count on non-judgmental, compassionate support.

Thanks for visiting and let's all remember -- being our own best friend is the only pathway to fully being able to offer our love and support to others.🌻
